Workshops on EU policies and active citizenship for adults within the European project "Dialogue with EU - The Voices of the European Citizens"

"Dialogue with EU- The Voices of the European Citizens" is a European project aiming at empowering citizens with the necessary knowledge and civic competences to express their opinions on issues like the European integration process or the EU policies and their impact by involving them in a series of activities where they will learn what mechanisms the EU makes available for them to give their opinions (forums, opinion polls, etc.).

In this sense, SREP is organizing a series of workshops in which the participants will learn more about the European Union, its values and objectives. Also, they will have the opportunity to become acquainted with different ways to make their voice heard at the level of the EU: forums, opinion blogs, platform, etc.

The issues covered in these workshops include:
  • Drepturile cetatenilor europeni in Europa
  • Organizatiile si Institutiile Europene: obiective si activitati
  • Posibilitatile de angajare in cadrul Pietei Europene
  • Drepturile angajatilor pe perioada de criza
  • Valori europene: Identitate si nationalitate europeana
  • Aspecte cu privire la drepturile omului
The workshops take place in Branesti, Ploiesti and in Iasi, Romania.

Since May 2010, the course session has begun, organized in "Mihail Kogalniceanu" High school in Miroslava town, Iasi County, Romania.
