Free online course for medical caretakers within the COACH BOT - Modular e-courses with virtual coach tool support Project

Within the European Project COACH BOT "Modular e-course with virtual coach tool support", co-financed by the European Union within the "Lifelong Learning" Programme (Leonardo da Vinci action), The Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning (SREP) has the pleasure to announce the opening of the registration procedure for the pilot training e-course for professionals of home healthcare services. The training course will take place entirely in English and is free of charge.

The course is simultaneously implemented in 6 European countries (Italy, Denmark, Great Britain, Romania, Slovenia and Switzerland).

In each country two groups of 10 to 15 members will be set up, for a total of 25 students per country.

The course will last for about 40 hours (according to the job of each student and the training necessities of each of them) and will be available for approximately 3 months.

The course is based on four main domains regarding the interventions within the home healthcare services provided by professions:

  • Medical problems
  • Physiological problems
  • National/EU Legislation
  • Social and ethical aspects

With the beginning of March, the COACH BOT class will be accessed online only by those who have previously enrolled. Among these, 20 persons that work in the domain as assistants, doctors, medical caretakers in different areas of the country have been selected.
